Available in two distinct styles, the FT1 lets you choose between ear cups crafted from North American walnut or Chinese beech wood. The walnut finish exudes warmth and subtle elegance, while the beech wood offers a striking grain pattern and impressive durability. Made from solid natural wood, both options not only enhance the headphone’s visual appeal but also optimize its acoustics by reducing resonance and eliminating standing waves.
60mm Dynamic Driver
The FT1 is equipped with a newly developed 60mm second-generation dynamic driver. Its larger-than-average diameter enhances energy conversion efficiency, providing a solid bass foundation. Additionally, the increased size of the driver reduces resonance at low frequencies, allowing for deeper bass and dynamic sound, while maintaining authoritative music playback.
Nanofiber Composite Cone
The cone of the FiiO FT1 is crafted from high-quality paper wood fibers, sourced from 90-year-old spruce wood from Northern Europe—an ideal material known for its natural, clear sound in musical instruments. In line with its high-quality acoustic design, the FT1 features a nano wood fiber cone. This combination of paper fibers and lightweight PU (polyurethane) suspension results in excellent high-frequency extension, transient response, and a clean, precise sound. The natural, rich, and dense midrange of the paper cone provides an extraordinary listening experience.
W-Shaped Suspension Gasket
The FT1 introduces FiiO's new in-house acoustic technology: the W-shaped suspension seal. The 25mm diameter voice coil is optimized and specially tuned, achieving a 25.8% larger effective vibrating area compared to typical cones of similar size. This allows it to store more energy, improving sound refinement and reducing distortion. The design also minimizes vibration losses, resulting in a purer, more detailed sound.
Japanese CCAW Voice Coil
For robust, high-quality sound, the FT1 uses a 25mm Japanese ultra-fine CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) voice coil. The use of longer copper wire improves transducer efficiency, enhancing transient response and delivering a purer sound. The lightweight KSV (Kapton) frame reduces cone mass, improving response speed and minimizing reverberation.
Closed-Back Design

U-Shaped Sound Attenuation Tube
The FT1's U-shaped sound attenuation tube improves passive noise reduction and channels sound energy through a specific length and angle. Two Cables Included
The FT1 includes two cables: one with a 3.5mm single-ended termination and the other with a 4.4mm balanced termination.
