13.8mm Dynamic Driver

The FD15 pushes the boundaries of audio performance by incorporating a larger 13.8mm dynamic driver compared to its predecessor. This results in a 40% increase in the effective diaphragm area, allowing the driver to move more air and improving electroacoustic conversion efficiency at its source. This upgrade boosts overall sound quality, delivering more scale and depth to the audio, with mid-range vocals feeling incredibly close and detailed.

Magnalium Diaphragm with DLC Gasket

The FD15's dynamic driver utilizes two material innovations:

Magnalium diaphragm: A carefully engineered blend of magnesium and aluminum, providing both high rigidity and low distortion, which results in clear, detailed treble.
DLC gasket: Diamond-like carbon (DLC) offers a rigid yet flexible structure, reducing distortion during diaphragm movement and ensuring a more precise and high-quality sound.

W-Shaped Gasket

The FD15 introduces a bold W-shaped gasket design, a high-end audio principle typically found in larger systems. This design increases the effective vibrating area of the diaphragm by 30%, allowing the driver to store more sound energy. The result is a denser, more solid sound, enhancing both clarity and depth.

Φ8.6mm Long Voice Coil

With an increased voice coil diameter of Φ8.6mm, the FD15’s longer copper voice coil improves efficiency and power handling. This upgrade enhances transient response, resulting in a cleaner, more natural sound, especially in the midrange, where the FD15 truly shines.

Tesla Valve for Bass

The FD15 features the patented "Tesla Valve" bass enhancement system. Thanks to the high-precision powder metallurgy process used in its design, the earphone cavity's channels are carefully calculated to create a fluid structure that significantly improves bass extension. The result is deep, detailed bass that remains clear and controlled.

Swappable Nozzles

Stainless steel shell

FD15 creatively combines a fresh design language with a closed-back acoustic design, utilizing carefully placed design surface flourishes to create an elegant and ever-changing play of light and shadow. To achieve this effect, the FD15 is made with 316L medical-grade stainless steel —which thanks to powder metallurgy sintering — means the IEM is durable. It further undergoes meticulous hand-polishing and PVD electroplating for a premium finish, with a mirror-like visual effect.

Comfortable design

FD15 features a carefully angled nozzle, curved MMCX connectors, and a carefully-sculpted shell designed to minimize contact with the skin. This ergonomic attention to detail makes the IEMs more comfortable to wear over time.

Comprehensive tips

FD15 includes an incredible 13 pairs of ear tips, each different in size and material to allow you to find your favourite. The translucent black silicone tips are balanced in their sound, the red and black silicone tips emphasize the bass, the red and white silicone tips puts additional focus on vocals, while the foam tips maximize isolation. These four types of ear tips each come in Small, Medium, and Large sizes.

Next-level cable

Cables made from Furukawa’s high-purity monocrystalline copper have been sought after by audiophiles around the world. The new FD15 uses the LC-RC 2024 cable, with four large strands, each made up of 100 copper wires and 20 silver-plated wires for an overall total of 480 wires — unparalleled in its class. With a cross-sectional area of 22AWG and having undergone 1080° high-temperature smelting, the included cable is truly of high-end quality but at an affordable price. In addition, the cable features left blue and right red markings for convenience as well as unique interchangeable audio plugs, allowing you to freely switch between 3.5/4.4mm plugs depending on your music source.
