The EC3 is meticulously designed as a compact CD player, ideal for desktop setups or slim Hi-Fi racks. It uses the dependable Philips CD80 drive mechanism paired with a Sanyo HD850 laser head, providing a top-loading design with a transparent lid. With both coaxial and optical SPDIF digital outputs, it easily connects to external DACs or receivers. Additionally, the EC3 includes its own high-quality audio circuit featuring the ESS ES9219C DAC and LTA8092 op-amp, offering outputs via headphone jack or RCA, and can even function as a pre-amplifier.

But the EC3 is more than just a basic CD player with standard playback controls. We've enhanced its functionality with the Ingenic X2000 platform, a practical 1.6-inch screen, and a custom-built system, giving users access to additional settings and features directly on the device.
