Change Modes with Just One Button
Thanks to the BTR15's ability to function as both a Bluetooth receiver and a USB DAC, we've added a PC/BT/PHONE mode button. With just a click, you can quickly switch between the three different modes to suit your current music listening scenario for high-quality sound.
Global Parametric EQ - Be the Master of Your Music
The BTR15 features a global parametric equalizer (PEQ). Using FIIO's self-developed PEQ algorithm and user interface, you can adjust specific frequencies, gain levels, and bandwidth in any mode*, allowing you to fine-tune the sound to your exact preference.
PEQ Notes:
- In BT mode, PEQ adjustments are made through the QCC5125 DSP with support for LDAC and other Bluetooth formats up to 96kHz/24bit.
- In PC/PHONE mode, PEQ adjustments are made through the XMOS XU316 with support for up to 192kHz PCM.
- PEQ adjustments in PC/PHONE mode are made via the XMOS chip. Enabling or disabling the PEQ will restart the USB and disconnect it.
Dual-Core Upgrade - Two Modes of High-Res Audio
The upgrades start at the heart of the BTR15, specifically with the cores that power it. The BTR15 uses the high-performance combination of the Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth chip and the XMOS 16-core XU316, supporting stable high-res audio playback in any mode*, giving you more ways to immerse yourself in high-quality, high-res music.
Sampling Rate Notes:
- BT mode supports LDAC/aptX Adaptive/aptX LL/aptX HD/aptX/AAC/SBC and other high-resolution Bluetooth formats with sampling rates up to 96kHz.
- PC/PHONE modes support asynchronous decoding up to 384kHz/32bit PCM and DSD256.
Dual Curved Glass - Two Upgrades for Look and Grip
With the BTR15, FIIO uses hot-bent curved glass for the first time – embedded on both the front and back of the device. Not only does this make the device easier to hold, but it also gives the BTR15 a more attractive and 3D look. Along with the aluminum alloy middle frame, it makes the BTR15 comfortable to handle – you won’t want to put it down once you pick it up.
0.96-inch OLED Display - See All the Info with Just a Glance
Like its bigger brother the BTR7, the BTR15 also features a large, brilliant 0.96-inch OLED display. This display allows for more information to be shown at once and features larger text, making it easier to view the device status and adjust settings. Additionally, it is one of the few devices in its category to support bilingual languages, Chinese and English.
Dual Outputs - Covering All Angles
In addition to the standard 3.5mm single-ended headphone output, the BTR15 also includes the widely used 4.4mm balanced headphone output – providing greater contact reliability and durability compared to the 2.5mm balanced output. The dual outputs ensure you can use the BTR15 with more headphones, offering a more remarkable listening experience.
