Legal assistant
Clémence is part of the business and corporate law team at our Saint-Hyacinthe firm. She focuses her practice in transactional law. Within that practice, she guides and advises business owners to help them accomplish their projects. Particularly, in the context of a sale, an acquisition or corporate restructuring.
Working with a clientele that varies from startups to large, Canada-wide companies, Clémence contributes to many major transactions. She has acquired a notable experience in commercial law as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions. Before joining the Therrien Couture Joli-Cœur team, Clémence worked at an international law firm for a few years.
During her academic years, Clémence had the opportunity to have internships in various environments, which helped her deepen her knowledge of the corporate world. She studied abroad, in England, for a full session of university, where she furthered her learning of the Common Law, all while growing her knowledge of the world.
Her colleagues and clients appreciate her for her sharp mind, her intellectual rigor and her flair for business.

Professional Mandates
It’s always a pleasure for me to guide my clients in the achievement of their business projects. Interactions with various business partners and doing teamwork towards a common goal are things that motivate me daily. Beyond finding answers to legal issues within a case, I always strive to provide my clients with business solutions that are adapted to their reality.

Social Involvement
I’ve had the chance to get involved in my community by sitting on a board of directors for an organization that provided social reintegration services based on professional training and psychosocial support.
