Legal assistant
A lawyer at our Montreal office, Andréa's practice focuses on construction litigation, professional liability and insurance.
Andréa is a graduate of the University of Sherbrooke, where she obtained her bachelor's-master's degree in life sciences law. While at university, she taught 1st and 2nd year students the documentary research course, had the opportunity to complete an internship with a major construction company in Quebec, and worked as a research assistant for a Quebec Court judge.
Prior to joining Therrien Couture Joli-Coeur, she worked in construction and insurance law firms, where she appeared before all levels of civil courts, including the Quebec Court of Appeal. She also had the opportunity to teach the Association des professionnels de la construction et de l'habitation du Québec (APCHQ) courses for future construction contractors, which dealt in particular with contractor's licenses and legal hypothecs in construction.
Passionate about the law, transparent and a good listener, Andréa knows how to defend her clients' interests in their best interests.
